At Sitabuldi Railway Station, a team of officers rescued multiple individuals including women and children. When a distressed person drew a knife, officers chose empathy over aggression — peace over force. That is the spirit of Mission Mukti.

  • 02 Violent behavior due to untreated mental conditions requires officers to show extraordinary restraint and training.
  • 03 Constant real-time coordination across multiple departments, hospitals, and NGOs demands flawless communication.
  • 04 Repeat cases require photographic documentation and surveillance to ensure individuals receive continuous care.

Mission Mukti is not a one-off campaign. It is a continuous movement with clear goals for the future.

  • Sustain beggar-free zones through consistent monitoring and follow-up
  • Expand the Mission Mukti model to neighboring areas and districts
  • Institutionalize follow-ups for every single rehabilitated individual
  • Strengthen NGO and shelter home networks for long-term reintegration
  • Train all police stations in the SOP for independent operations
